Installation steps
  1. Download the signed installer for your architecture.
  2. Open the installer and approve the Velocity Agent service.
  3. Sign in when prompted, then confirm the discovered printers.
Troubleshooting

If discovery is empty, confirm the printer is installed for the Windows account running Velocity Agent and restart the service.

Installation steps
  1. Download the notarized package for your Mac.

  3. Launch Velocity Agent, sign in, and confirm the discovered printers.
Troubleshooting

If macOS blocks launch, verify the package signature in System Settings. Printer discovery uses the queues already available to macOS.

Installation steps
  1. Choose DEB for Debian or Ubuntu, RPM for RHEL or Fedora, or AppImage for portable manual operation.
  2. Install DEB or RPM with your package manager to run the background service.
  3. Start Velocity Agent and complete the one-time account connection. AppImage runs in the foreground instead.
Troubleshooting

Confirm CUPS is running and the service account can see the required queues. Review the Velocity Agent service status after changing printer permissions.

Raspberry Pi

For compact, low-power Edge gateways close to your devices.

Troubleshooting

Use a supported Raspberry Pi OS release, confirm the system clock is correct, and verify CUPS or the required Device adapter can access the hardware.
